The GD418 is a ready-to-use video inspection system, ideal for workshops, production lines, and dissection. Designed for real-time viewing, the microscope uses a high-quality zoom lens with a high-intensity ring light to display sharp, vivid images on the 8” screen with an effective magnification range of 11X-102X.

Optics

The zoom optics are highly corrected for color and distortion, and capable of producing tack sharp images. The single-lens design avoids the offset focus seen with stereo optics, resulting in edge-to-edge clarity. The 0.65X-6X optical magnification range translates to 11X-102X on-screen magnification. This accommodates a wide range of subjects including mobile electronics, machined parts, jewelry, and biological specimens.

Video System

This video inspection system is designed for viewing only, with no recording capability. The integrated CCD camera uses reliable, time-tested technology to provide smooth, accurate video with 580 TVL resolution for display on the 8” screen.

LED Illumination

The lens is fitted with a 96-LED ring light to provide bright, even lighting. The light intensity is controlled by a power module with a simple, single-knob design which can cover a large range of brightness.

Tabletop Pillar Stand

This tabletop stand uses a pillar and focusing block for quick and easy focus adjustments. The focusing block uses a model-specific collar for mounting the lens, and symmetrical, tension-adjustable coarse focus knobs. The large base provides ample working area and stability.
