This is a binocular stereo zoom microscope with a compact stand with 12" pillar. The stand's base has a small footprint to take up minimal space. The microscope incorporates all the most excellent features of a high quality laboratory instrument. Designed to meet the demands of modern microscopy applications, this microscope exceeds all expectations. It comes with SUPER widefield optics and basic table stand. This microscope offers high resolution and good depth within a broad field of view. It provides crystal clear sharp stereo images with a 4" (100mm) native working distance. Its 45 degree inclined ocular tubes ensure an easy observation and rubber eyeguards provide further comfort.
The stereo optics provide clear, sharp images with excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance. With 0.7X-4.5X zoom objectives, moving through the magnification range is as easy as turning a knob. 10X wide-field eyepieces provide an ample magnification range from 7X to 45X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles.
This microscope is useful for many applications. It can be used in gemology, geology, forestry, archaeology, agriculture and biology. It is appropriate for educational purposes in hospitals and schools. It is great for the exploration of the world of surface details and fine structures of various materials like wood, metal, solder, semiconductor and gemstone. It is perfect for the examination of insects, plants, rocks, stamps, coins, jewel, soldered points, microelectronic components, circuit boards or virtually any three dimensional objects. This scope is an ideal tool for research labs, gemologists, collectors, engravers, watchmakers, jewelers, dies-makers, philatelists, and anyone in semiconductor or electronic industry.
This package includes a powerful 150W illuminator with a ring-light and dual fiber-optic goosenecks. The incandescent light-source projects ultra-bright, full-spectrum light which is channeled through either of the included fiber-optic attachments. The dual 22" gooseneck light-guides allow you to use two sources of direct lighting from virtually any angle. The 35” ring-light attachment provides the smoothest ring of encompassing overhead illumination when attached to the microscope's objective housing. The flexible, heavy-duty metal-sheathed guides will hold up to heavy use in your workshop, factory, or lab without worry of crimping or breaking. The light-source is equipped with an active cooling system and an auto-shutoff circuit to avoid overheating in strenuous environments.
