Description

The HD408 takes a big step forward, bringing 4K Ultra HD resolution to your microscopy system. With four times the resolution of 1080p HD, this camera will provide sharper images with greater detail on 4K displays. Well suited for compound and stereo microscopes, the HD408 will provide real time video over HDMI to a monitor or television at a smooth 60fps. Whether you're working in quality control or monitoring a long term experiment, you can watch with unrivaled clarity.

A powerful image capture system lies at your fingertips. The HD408's internal recording system allows you to capture 4K videos and photos up to 8MP with the click of a mouse. The camera can record to Secure Digital media or a USB flash drive, eliminating the need for a computer. Built-in software provides image processing and measurement tools for a complete standalone experience. Alternatively, you can connect the camera through LAN or 5GHz wi-fi, and control and capture with your PC. Our dedicated microscopy software provides an expansive range of professional tools, including time lapse, stitching, and focus stacking. Now, anyone on the network can access the camera for a new level of convenience.

The camera uses a standard C-mount interface to connect to a wide range of microscopes and lenses. For microscopes with 23mm photo ports, you can pair the camera with an optional 0.5X reduction lens to optimize the field-of-view.
